Home Federal Bank Remodels Youree Drive and Downtown Financial Centers

SHREVEPORT, La — Home Federal Bank is remodeling its Youree Drive Branch to incorporate the new concept design for Home Federal Bank.

Remodeling construction of Home Federal Bank’s Financial Center located at 6363 Youree Dr. between East 70th St. and Pierremont Road, began on September 4, 2009 and is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year. Based on an innovative design by Alliance, Inc., Integrity construction is implementing the remodeling project.

In addition to the exterior remodel, Home Federal’s Youree Drive Financial Center will be completely remodeled on the inside as well. This will be HFB’s first Financial Center to be branded with Home Federal Bank’s new corporate identity. HFB’s new branding element – a compass – will play a prominent role in the remodel. It will be embedded in the floor of the lobby to serve as a symbol that there is a better way for customers to handle their personal and business banking in Northwest Louisiana. Also, a convenient drive-thru ATM will replace the original walk-up ATM.

According to Jim Barlow, President of Home Federal Bank, “The new color and branding elements give the new HFB Financial Center a very contemporary flair, while respecting our 85 years of tradition. Most importantly, these updates will enhance our strong commitment to service and allow us to remain true to our traditions while keeping an eye on the future.”

The downtown branch was also recently renovated. Much of Home Federal Bank’s new mortgage division will be housed in this area.
